Rev. Joy Atkinson, our interim minister, is finishing her term with us, and our new minister, Ron Phares, will be starting August 1, 2012. He was called after a long and exhaustive search and a busy candidating week, during which he preached two sermons, met with the Board, the standing committees, and the congregation. This choice has been enthusiastically endorsed by the congregation.
Ron is presently serving as a Contract Minister at the West Valley UU Church in Glendale, AZ. He and his wife Katie have 1-year-old identical twin daughters Minne Belle and Cora Bird.
